It's rare when a competitor comes along, specially in bodybuilding and makes a clean sweep.. And, as a Bantamweight! Joshua Thompson competed in his first show at the 2014 NPC Natural Vancouver USA Championships and not only won his class, but also won the overall! Not many bantamweights do that in big shows. He then decied to jump in the deep end as he entered the 2014 Emerald Cup. He was tested for sure, but still came out with a 1st place in his first show at the Emerald Cup. Watch for this kid!

Some of the people that has helped me are my brother Salah Ali and my sister in-law Misty Ali they got me started with my weight loss and introduced me into bodybuilding. Another person how has helped me is my girlfriend Chelsea Matthews, she helped keep me focused and to keep going when i needed it most and the one person who has helped me the most would be my coach Matt Porter, even before he became my coach he gave me tips, knowledge and guidance to help me get in shape and ready to compete and when he became my coach he was there every step of the way with weekly check-ins contest prep diet and being with me at my shows to cheer me on.
