After taking first at the 2013 Vancouver Natural then moving on the first in a very competitive Emerald Cup class, this mother two is ready to take it to the National level and quite possibly be Oregon's next IFBB Bikini Pro! Elizabeth has made major improvements in her physique in the last year and will make an impact when she decides to battle it out this summer at the NPC Team Universe.

1. When and why did you decide to start competing?
I STARTED COMPETING IN MAY OF LAST YEAR.  I WANTED TO REACH SOME NEW FITNESS GOALS AND DO SOMETHING THAT WOULD BE A CHALLENGE FOR ME. I HAD MET A FEW PEOPLE WHO WERE INVOLVED WITH  COMPETING IN FIGURE AND BIKINI AND LIKED HOW THEIR PHYSIQUES LOOKED. FOR MYSELF I THOUGHT A  BIKINI COMPETITION WOULD BE A GOOD MOTIVATION FOR ME. AFTER MY FIRST SHOW I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE SPORT AND COULDNT WAIT TO TRAIN FOR MY NEXT SHOW.

2. What makes you want to go farther in the sport?
I LOVE THE TRAINING AND THE NUTRITION THAT IS INVOLVED IN THIS SPORT AND SEEING MY PHYSIQUE GROW AND CHANGE IS WHAT MOTIVATES ME TO KEEP GOING AND PUSH HARDER EVERYDAY TO BE BETTER IN THIS SPORT. WHAT CAN I SAY.. I'M HOOKED! I WANT TO IMPROVE EACH AND EVERYTIME I STEP ON STAGE. I AM A VERY GOAL ORIENTED PERSON, ONCE I SET MY MIND TO DO SOMETHING, I DO IT. I WANT TO BE ABLE TO HELP OTHERS ACHIEVE THEIR FITNESS GOALS AND HOPE I CAN BE AN INSPIRATION TO MANY, ESPECIALLY MOMS WHO WANT TO GET IN BETTER SHAPE AND LIVE A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE.

3. What type of training do you implement during contest prep and the in the off-season?
MY TRAINING IS VERY SIMILAR BETWEEN THE OFF SEASON (IMPROVEMENT TIME) AND COMPETITION SEASON BEING THAT MY DIET IS VERY BALANCED. MY TRAINER INCORPORATES BOTH HEAVY AND HIGH VOLUME TRAINING DEPENDING ON WHAT AREAS WE ARE TRYING TO DEVELOP FOR THE BIKINI DIVISION.

4. What is your favorite type of dieting meals and what is your favorite type of cheat meal?
MY FAVORITE DIET MEAL IS CHICKEN, SWEET POTATOE AND ASPARAGUS. CHEAT MEAL WOULD HAVE TO BE MY WRAP I MAKE.. WHOLE GRAIN WRAP WITH PEANUT BUTTER AND BANANA.. MMM DEFINATELY MY FAVORITE!

5. Who are some of the people that have helped you along the way to get where you are now in life or in the sport?
MY FAMILY, HUSBAND, KIDS AND FRIENDS HAVE ALL BEEN AWESOME SUPPORTERS. MY TRAINERS JOSH FIELD AND VICTORIA ADELUS IFBB PRO HAVE HELPED ME REACH MY FITNESS GOALS AND HAVE SEEN SUCH A CHANGE IN MY PHYSIQUE SINCE I HAVE BEEN TRAINING WITH THEM. MY TEAMMATES TEAM ABC SUCH GREAT SUPPORTERS AS WELL. COULDNT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT ALL OF THEM.

6. Who or what inspires you to strive for more in the sport?
I WANT TO LIVE A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE AND BE A GOOD ROLE MODEL FOR MY KIDS . I LOVE SETTING GOALS AND ACCOMPLISHING THEM. IN THIS SPORT I HAVE REALIZED THAT IM NOT TRYING TO BE BETTER THEN THIS PERSON OR THAT PERSON IM TRYING TO BETTER MYSELF! ALWAYS STRIVING TO DO MY BEST. THERE IS NO BETTER FEELING THEN WHEN YOU STEP ON THAT STAGE AND TO KNOW HOW HARD YOU HAVE WORKED TO GET THERE.. SUCH AN AWESOME FEELING!

7. What is next for you as a competitor?
I AM TRAINING FOR NATIONALS IN JULY. MY GOAL IS TO EARN MY PRO CARD.. JUST KEEP PUSHING MYSELF TO BE BETTER AND MORE CONFIDENT EACH TIME I STEP ON STAGE.

8. What is your favorite memory good or bad while prepping or competing?
MY FAVORITE MEMORY WOULD DEFINATELY HAVE TO BE THE DAY I TRAINED LEGS WITH MY TRAINER AND AT THE END OF THE WORKOUT I PUKED! THATS WHEN YOU KNOW YOU HAVE PUSHED YOURSELF TO THE LIMITS! THANKS JOSH :)
